NC State's Richard Howell has earned the StatSheet ACC Player of the Week for the week ending December 31st. North Carolina's Marcus Paige has been recognized as StatSheet ACC Freshman of the Week. Finally, Florida State's Terrance Shannon is StatSheet's ACC 6th Man of the Week. Howell put up respectable numbers with 3 assists per game, 9 rebounds per game, and 18 points per game. The NC State senior played well in a victory against Western Michigan.

This is the first time that Richard Howell has been named the StatSheet ACC Player of the Week. The runner-up this week is sophomore P.J. Hairston from North Carolina. Honorable mention goes to NC State junior C.J. Leslie. Patrick Heckmann was the highest ranking player from Boston College, finishing 10th.

StatSheet ACC Freshman of the Week: North Carolina's Marcus Paige

Marcus Paige played 34 minutes starting the only game for North Carolina. In a 79-73 upset of UNLV, Paige tallied 12 points and 4 assists.

This marks the first time this season that Marcus Paige has won the StatSheet ACC Freshman of the Week. T.J. Warren from NC State gets runner-up. Brice Johnson from North Carolina takes honorable mention. The highest ranking freshman from Boston College was Joe Rahon who finished 6th.

StatSheet ACC 6th Man of the Week: Florida State's Terrance Shannon

Junior Terrance Shannon, a 6-8 forward, played 26 minutes during a lone game for the Seminoles. In an 82-63 win against Tulsa, Shannon put up 16 points and 10 rebounds.

This is the first StatSheet ACC 6th Man of the Week win for Terrance Shannon. Christian Beyer, a sophomore forward from Virginia Tech, is runner up. Jason Morris, a junior guard from Georgia Tech, earns honorable mention. Boston College has yet to win the StatSheet ACC Player of the Week award this season.
